Choir

Paul is the choir director in our ward and today was absolutely incredible! It was our ward conference and Bishop Anderson asked Paul to put together Wilhousky's "Battle Hymn of the Republic". We performed it last year so we just had to polish it up again. It was AMAZING! I wish I had a recording so you could hear it but I don't so you have to take my word for it. I had to keep the tears back because the spirit was so strong. Everyone talked about it all day! So, that is my boastful bit for the day! I am a little proud of my very talented husband!

SAD!

I am so sad. I had some fun pictures of our last outing and I just lost them! Oh well. Saturday we went to Tony's Grove up Logan Canyon and hung out for the day. The boys all had a snowball fight! We made friends with the local squirrels and chipmunks and fed them for the next year. Colton took a nap the whole time because he wasn't feeling well (he is finally feeling better today!!) and we just relaxed. It was a fun day! So, here is where you imagine the pictures of the snowball fight and squirrels eating our sunflower seeds! Friday night, we went to the rodeo. It was the first rodeo for the boys and they loved it! I was kinda surprised about that. It was a fun relaxing weekend!

Well, Shelby tagged me and I guess I will play the game. It was actually quite entertaining! I googled my name and then the word "needs" (and Paul's name too) and here are the results..... Lisa needs...braces (apparently I need them badly because it said it about 50 times). Lisa needs...to get a life. I don't think I could handle much more than I have. If I have to get a life, I need more time to go along with it! Lisa needs...a nap. Sounds pretty good at the moment. Lisa needs...wooden spoons?!? Lisa needs...your prayers. Never a bad thing. Never a bad thing to do. Lisa needs...a home ASAP. Why am I paying a mortgage then? Lisa needs...lots more warmth from an overly conscientious Julia Roberts. Does she even know I'm alive? Mine weren't quite as funny as Paul's list. Paul needs...a movie theater. That would be kinda fun! Paul needs...$14 million. Hand it over!!!!! Paul needs...a tin foil hat!!!!! Picturing it makes me laugh! Paul needs...a new congress. Don't we all? Paul needs...the toilet. Stay far away everyone! Paul needs...a nickname. Any suggestions? Paul needs...a haircut. Which one? There aren't many to choose from! Paul needs...our donations now. Think we can make it to $14 million? Paul needs...help. Enough said.

Running Anyone?

I guess I am going to try to accept Linette's challenge and run the half-marathon with her. I am not going to promise anything since her leg might not be up to it. I ran about two miles today and I am OUT OF SHAPE!!! But I need to get into shape so it won't hurt to train. So wish me luck!!!
