Gingerbread Houses!!!

Last night we decorated gingerbread houses, well, graham cracker houses because I didn't want to make gingerbread. We had so much fun and the boys were very creative! Paul was involved in "demolition" and enjoyed his with some milk! Hayden's house included a hot tub, car, deck and all the bells and whistles. Cameron's house had a huge open loft and an edible snowman on the roof. Colton built a two story house with an electric fence. My roof caved in so I made a model home with beds and walls. This is our village! We had a great time!

I am glad you posted this, I haven't even thought to do them this year, but now I can get on that one and maybe have it ready for FHE. They turned out so good!

When we went to the store today, Emily saw a gingerbread kit and asked me if we were going to make them this year. Obviously, she had to ask because we haven't been very faithful with it. Maybe I will try the graham cracker houses. Much easier and less time consuming!! I love the pictures! They turned out so good! I can totally picture each of the boys posing for their photos. They are so funny!

Since Kristen commented on the posing, I just have to say that they each came up with that on their own without knowing what the others had done. It was so funny to watch them. Also, my friend said they had cute gingerbread kits at Walmart for $9 each with everything included. She said the candy wasn't really cute but it came with everything you need if anyone is interested.
