Last year when egg prices started getting so high, I used to joke about buying chickens so I wouldn't have to buy eggs. Well, some of our neighbors bought chickens last spring and we started toying with the idea. I don't know how serious we were, but it stayed in the back of our minds. Well, last fall, Paul and Hayden started building a chicken coop. It's not all the way finished but it's almost done. It just needs the door and eventually a chicken run. So, last week we became the parents of eight little baby chicks. They really are adorable and it is kind of fun to watch them!

You are only a little bit crazy! I've thought about it before, but quickly push that thought aside!!!
Can Kalyssa adopt one but let it stay at your house? She has been trying to convince us that it would be fun to have them. But after the husky incident with Oreo we aren't so sure that it would work.
